Located at the heart of Lim Chu Kang, my heart was bumping non stop as Dad drove me nearer and nearer to the campsite.

First impression of the dead barrack:

-_-" DamN! I can't survive here! Is a deserted one room flat as compared to my condo at the "zoo".

Job Vocation(s) Recommended:

Chief ClerK: "Tay, HQ CSM want u to go S4 branch, but I'm holding u back."

ShaWn: "Sure, no problem, I'm with okay with any of ur arrangement, mdm. =)" (thanks ah! I heard he's f**ked up!)

Chief ClerK: "Good, u will be my Assistant Chief Clerk, when S1, DyS1 and I'm not around, S1 Branch will be under your charge." (Shit! What does my former camp's recommendation letter wrote?)

ShaWn: Sure Mdm, not a problem. =) (SaiKang lots and lots! Dead for sure! -_-")

Next, she gave me a pile of directives and instruction manuals to read! Trust me, is worst then Instrumention lectures back in poly. Later in the evening, after discussion with S1...

Chief ClerK: "Tay, I want u to be our R&D specialist instead. Cause u excused outfield."

ShaWn: SureZ ah! I'm fine with that. =) (Lucky ah, phew!... Shit! I hate the guy who will be teaching me!)

Let's see how things go...

Defination of a R&D specialist:

- In charge of the regiment and discipline of the camp.
- Escout / Collect SAF personnels to / from Detention Barrack (Army jail), police stations, etc
- Liaise with Disciplinary Officers during investigations and summary trial such as court cases.
- Worked hands in hands with SAFPU when sendinging the criminal to DB.
- In charge of urine regime and signing of extras of the men. (Rather relax, yah?! =) 11 more months to ORD...)

After my two days here, here's are some things I compared between the zoo (1S*R) and the eagle nest(4S*R):

The Bads

- 1's buildings are much better then here.
- 1's bunks are defintely cleaner, bunks here is like the 70's. -_-" I miss my bunk back there!
- There's only one stall in the canteen, and they don't sell hot coffee! I will be dead. Uncle, I miss u toO!
- Their HQCSM and S4 sucks! I miss my encik! That bald old man!
- I miss my kids back in the zoo... Mei, WeiSiong, LT Zheng, Cai, Yixia, QM branch guys, blah blah...

The Goods:

- I'm saving money by eating cookhouse! How u wanna me to eat in the canteen when the Auntie told me she got 3in1 instant coffee for me this morning!!!
- S1 is good, Chief Clerk is good too.
- I don't receive 21 calls everyday like back in the zoo.
- The despatch runners and storemen here don't have attidude problem(s).
- I got a chance to go outcamp(s) regulary - to pay Aloysius and PiangChin a visit every now and then! Haha, I mean I'm working with SAFPU... So when I sent my guys there to serve their terms I got to see Aloy and Ben who are MP there! Remember to la Kopi lah guys! My camp no coffee!
- I got a chance to book out everyday... At least for the time being... (Thou some of the S1 guys told me that this is the most busy and easy kanna extra vocation, we'll see...)
- Can meet up diff west siders now everyday after camp now!!! From Jun, GuoLiang, WeiHao to Hua, KG, Kris to Vincent and Eugene, and then to Aloy and Ben in SAFPU... Hahha

HaiZ, I miss the zoo... But I told MeiHua: "At least posted here, i'm not complaining as much as I did back in the zoo..." And she agreed with that... So I guess I dont know is it or bad or a good thing... Yet...

Long Weekend

A super long weekend. Offs on Mon and Tues. Weekend was well spent.

Shopping with the burgies on Sat wasn't a dull one. Didn't grab any tops, but managed to bump onto some friends on the street. The closed ones like Hua, WeiTing, Darren and Aaron to GuoLiang's ex ideal girl (holding an Ah Beng's hand) and Valerie. Grab a $10 hot choco in a Italian cafe before calling it a day. Oh yeah, managed to know a malaysian on the way back. He mistook me as his long lost friend... He said I looked like malaysian -_-" But he was nice la...

Birthday Celebration with BaoLian's at a Chinese Restaurant on Sunday. The dishes were great, but that buttery cake sucks! Love the pressies, thanks... Esp the red wine..10 years before opening it? SureZ

Finally the sun was out yesterday! Have a nice swim with Kris at Chervons... =) And today, receiving enough nags from mum, I packed my cupboard!!!

On 12nd Jan '06, my lunch was Chicken Rice (mum knows that's my fav).

On 13rd Jan '06, my lunch was Chicken Rice again (I got a cute mum)...

My dinner that night were Chicken Chop and Spring Chicken (Charity from Zen).

On 14th Jan '06, my lunch was Chicken Rice again (Tat's my mum, -_-")!

My dinner on that fateful night was Chicken Rice with the burgies at FarEast again(Dun wanna be a spoiler)!

And on 15th Jan'o6, my lunch was CHICKEN RICE AGAIN (all thanks to Dad)!!!

Defination of a Good Clubbing Sesion

Many people went clubbing for different reasons. Some casanovas went there to prey for girls, while some bimbos waited to get hooked. Some miserable ones went to get high, get drunk, to forget the reality of lives, perhaps for the lost of love or the stress of work, etc. Some musical ones might go there to be lost in the melody of songs or for the sake of dancing. That could be some others who gained courage after the magic of alcohol before they decided to do something that requires bravery. Perhaps a few, I guessed, did went there truefully for a happy drinking and dancing session with friends and cliques.

No doubt, alcohol, being a depressant, did many magical effects to my brain and body in clubbing sessions before. Occassionally, it gave me the courage to talk about things I wouldn't said in real life, some friends said I would have answered everything true when I got drunk. Once, it increased my "raging hormones" to a level that I actually went dancing off with a girl, which is particularly the wrong key from my own principles and philosophy of clubbing. Very seldom, but I did get happy in clubs with fun loving people and jokes before. Perhaps clubbing to me is just a way to forget the reality of life when I get depressed... But, come to think about it, do I really get better from those clubbing sessions?

That was once a period of time when I loved clubbing soooo much because I thought that was the "real" way to forget about stuffs... Family problems, love traps, army life... However, during every clubbing session back then, I didn't felt happy at all... In fact, the depressant made me more sad, more paranoid about life... It magically demoralized my egoism, readjusted my emotional level to an even lower level, and even set free the control system of my tear ducts, and made me cried like a baby! And that was once that I used to drink so much that I became paralysed down from my thighs for a day... The doctor said my muscles were too relaxed. *LoL* I swore I will never drink beyond my limits again (thou I will unlikely to get drunk nowadays)...

So upon here, what's the real meaning of a good clubbing session?

To me, a real good clubbing session is when everybody around me, and including me, get real high and not drunk! When all gets rowdy and start crapping about everything under the moon... When the group gets so fun that everyone danced like mad dogs and cats (pig in my case)... When all in a clique forgets about hates and misery and entered paradise for that hour or two... And that's e true meaning about clubbing... Not like some of my guy friends (u know who u are!), who went clubbing for the sake of catching a fish or two... Or some buddies who thought their lives were f**ked up, went there to forget the reality of life, only to make a joke to him/her self...

I love the way Audrey and Ah Dar's friend, Shixian, got high at "The ONE" on New Year Eve... They showed me the real happiness and joyfulness about clubbing... I loved the clubbing sessions with Jun at ChinaBlack too, they were simply relaxing... That's my true meaning of clubbing... What's yours? =)

New Year Resolution

Happy New Year guys! May 2006 be a good year for all of us... Lots have happened last year... But, regardless of good and bad, all have came to an end... So let's store the good ones into memories, and dump the bad ones into the rubbish bin!

And here's my new year resolution(s):

1. Get my yatch driving license.

2. A trip to Taiwan with the burgies and perhaps, another or two getaways to beach resorts with anyone. =)

3. Bi-monthly Spa Treats...

4. Lose weight!!! (Desired weight: 65kg!) *Laughs*

5. Get a healthy tan! (Meihua, u are responsible for this!)

6. Be less sensitive, more cheerful, stay happy-go-lucky and tonned down my fiery temper! *2006, Shawn will be a nice nice guy, laughs!*
