Today marks the start of a short holiday before stepping into a new phase of life. That dreadful life sciences undergraduate course commences at NUS in 3 weeks time for 4 fucking long years!!! I was telling MeiHua that I was having this withdrawn sypmtoms that god knows why. And I decided to forgo the exemption tests on Organic Chem, BioChem, and Genetics. Only geeks / saints can survive through the tests, the As I scored in poly are probably just flops. Two years in army has brainwashed my brain, and replaced those biological terms with 'fuck', 'cb', 'suck cock', "kanna arrowed". And my fav line goes to 'lan jiaoooooo'. Yeps, dragged the 'ao' behind, and accompany it with 'cb laaaaaa', it sounds way better then deoxyribonucleic acid(?!?!) .
Anyways, I contradicted myself at times with the mini NP gatherings and army mate gatherings that could be held at NTU regularly if I chose the latter... None of my close friends study in NUS, but are at NTU instead... And since I chose my path, just be it. The thoughts of having lunch with the poly cliques, tea sessions with the burgies, and talk cock sing songs with Vincent, Ben and guys are really tempting thou.
And, the Aussie Dream... *sigh* Going to parties with Eugene at Canberra and drink till we get high, smoke grass till we reach paradise, and have some karma sessions with the bitches out there sounds real cool... Going fising on the weekends and catch yabbies at the coast with Roderick at South Australia sounds relax and fun... Getting a part time job and work till we die in Melbourne with HongKiat isn't a bad choice either. But. My Aussie Dream is drifting away. I doubt my family "financial status" can be returned to the norm in three weeks time.
So, tata, since fate has already decided for me... A 22 years old haggard old man will use all his mights and powers to compete with his fellow coursemates - the didi and meimei and fight for a place to do honours in 3 years time.
Bachelor of Science (Life Sciences) with honours, Major in Cell and Molecular Biology, Minor in Business. A certicate that I would wish to hold in 4 years time... We shall see... =)
