Korean Restaurant, Sentosa, Geylang Durian Feast, YueLao Temple

Weekend was well spent.

Fri nite was spent in a local Korean Restaurant. We were lucky enough to get a room for just the four of us. The food was fabulous, but left me with a bothering dry throat that lasted till next day. I presummed that the MSG was too much, whereby HK suggested otherwise. Anyway, it was a cosy way to spent a night with, esp if the clique was good. (And yes, I have officially joined back the LoOoSER Club.) The route to Arab street might seems long, but with them, I stated otherwise.

Sat was a tour guide sort of thingy. CC's taiwan friends visited Singapore, and invited us to go to Sentosa with them. HK , KG, Eve, and I, as well as CC's campmate, WeiJie had a great fun with the two taiwanese babes, though it was a rather cloudy day, and even CC's wallet was lost (some kind soul sent it to his house thou, but the money was gone)!!! Anyway, the photowhoring session was fun, and the durian feast was a great laughing out loud session. Durian was described as spring onion, heard of it before??? They are fun loving people to hang out with la. Do visit HongKiat's or Eve's blogs for the pics once they uploaded. There are more then 200 pics!!!

Sunday was a day spent playing chess with Uncle Zhou, before meeting Jun on Monday to go to Yueh Hai Ching Temple whereby Lord Yue Lao is located at. The temple is one of the oldest temples in Singapore, which was built back in the 1820s by mainly sailors and traders from China to seek the god's help for safety on the rough seas. Today, it is a meeting place for the Teochew community (I'm a teochew!!!), as well as historical site for the tourists. Shopping and movie followed thereafter, as well as a burnt in the pocket. Anyway is a monday not that blue, and we only spent six dollars for a movie tix... =) Side note, Pirates oF e Carribean is disappointing, but Johnny Depp is still so charismatic. I will wait for part three... *giggles*

ShawnTay - I slept through the whole of Tues - 1100pm to 0545pm (18 hours and 45 mins).
