A spa session became a buffet feast...
I was supposed to meet Junyu, WeiHao and GuoLiang on Sat for our first spa session together... However, pathetic Junyu was suddenly arrowed for guard duty so we gonna changed the outing to friday instead... Weihao suggested a mega 3-in-1 buffet dinner in a ulu hotel (I couldn't even rem the name) which served western cursine, easten delicacies and steamboat... Sounds Cool!! So let's go!!
It turned out to be quite a disappointment as the ambience of the hotel wasn't as good as what we expected... Even though the food was yummy, the customer service was much below standard... The lucky thing was that the hotel served white wine for free... And I drank four glasses of it!!! I self-bragged that my "alcohol resistance" was much better then the rest, due to trainings thru clubbing and parties... However I got a bit high with the 13.5% alcohol content white wine... Jun was worst, he was allergied with wine and got rashes all over his body... And he started to laugh unusually... Smart alecs WeiHao and GuoLiang were clever enough to give the wine a miss!
After that, we decided to have a "short" walk to disgest the food... So we walked all the way from Bukit Timah Road, to Newton Circus (we saw Candy from Project Superstar), to Orhcard (we saw Xia Xue, the No.1 blog writer)... My initial thought was to go ChinaBlack to visit Fiona and cliques, but my dearest Junyu forgot to bring his IC, so we gonna to give it a miss! Sorry Fiona! We ended up having drinks in a cafe at cinesure leisure... Where we talked about many many stuffs... From friendship to BGR, from religion to SAF... It was overall a nice outing with the guys...
Some Interesting Stuffs During e Outing:
1. GuoLiang gave me a "ribs looked alike" kind of meat to eat... I thought it was pork meat or some similiar stuffs... So I ate and gave him some comments... Then he told me it was OXTAIL!! TAIL!! I was like WTF?! He deserved some beatings thereafter...
2. Junyu was some sort of high as we walked from Newton to Orchard. He said we were at Aljunied and commented that the buildings, mainly hotels and commercial estates looked strange.... Aljunied in Newton? Strange Bulidings? He was a "gonecase"!!
3. In the middle of the night, WeiHao got emotional and he said that, "I'm so touched that we are still maintaining our friendship for so many years...!" I was touched and agreed with him, but my goosebumps can't helped but kept popping out!
4. While WeiHao was on the phone, Junyu, GuoLiang and I were like mad people, talking dramatically in "professional" English, shouting a "girl's name" as we walked from Wisma Atria to Takashimaya! If some police were nearby, we probably ended up in Woodbridge!
MeiHua once told me that a person's life journey was just like taking and alighting from buses... Some of the passengers alighted before you, just like some friends who entered your life and left... Leaving behind some memories, regardless of good and bad... There could be some others, who sticked to you through the whole bus journey, just like buddies who sticked with you for years... Even though they might alight and change buses for awhile, that's because they got their missions and goals to accomplish, they would still ended up in the same bus with you thereafter... I believed this was what the director of the movie, "2046" wanted to convey to his audiences...
After so many years together, these guys became essentials in my life... Junyu, my lifelong phone chatter... We can chat from anything to nothing and still chat! My life definetely be dull without him around... GuoLiang, a great dude who I enjoyed spending my days with... From high class cafes to posh restaurants, from spa sessions to over-budget travellings, I won't enjoy myself without him... Last but not least, WeiHao, who I shared problems, worries, as well as philosophy of life with... I probably won't survived without his solutions to my problems, his encouragements to my worries, and vice versa... Love u guys!
